We had an absolutely amazing stay at this breathtaking mountain retreat. The attention to detail in the apartments was outstanding, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hosts, Marc and Benedita, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like long-term friends. The peacefulness of the surroundings in Monchique allowed us to truly relax and unwind. The gardens were beautifully designed, and we loved exploring the different sitting areas and enjoying the scent of the rosemary and lavender. The pool area was clean and offered a stunning view. The apartment itself was well-equipped, and we particularly enjoyed the rainforest shower. Despite the mountain location, there were nearby restaurants within walking distance. Although the mountain roads were a bit challenging for us, the effort was worth it for the tranquility of the retreat. We only wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. we highly recommend this hidden gem.

The view from the hotel was breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the countryside and sea that I couldn't get enough of. the hosts were incredibly warm and friendly, providing me with helpful suggestions and recommendations. the apartment I stayed in was clean, modern, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
The location of the hotel was quite remote, making it difficult to access if you're not used to the winding and steep mountain roads. the temperature dropped significantly in the mountains, so be sure to pack warm clothing.

The apartment at Pirilampo was absolutely amazing! It had a terrace with stunning sea views, perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. The seating area was so cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and microwave was a lifesaver for whipping up quick meals after long days exploring the beach. The private bathroom with a walk-in shower was so convenient and refreshing. The bedroom in the apartment was cozy and provided a great night's sleep after a day of sun and sand.
Personally, I found the hairdryer in the bathroom a bit lacking, but that's just my opinion.
